Betty Crocker is a Big Fat Liar!

I'm so not kidding about this!

My sister and I were on cake duty, as we are the family bakers. We made this Black Midnight Devil's Food Cake, which is probably better in theory than in actuality. But there is coffee in it, so it may have some hope yet.

The icing that went with the cake turned out looking like chunky vomit, so we scrapped it and decided to go with a fudge icing in the Betty Crocker cookbook. A failsafe, right? I mean, it's Betty, and she knows her shit.

Wrong!

She wanted us to use TWO squares of baking chocolate. That was so not right.

You wanna know how many we ended up using?

SEVEN!!!!!!

That's right, good ole Betty was off by FIVE squares!
