Day from Hell
Today sucked.
I wanna get a do over.
Work was hell. Too many people. All grabby, needy, evil, loud, annoying, irritating, bitchy, evil, rude, obnoxious, evil, messy, dirty, gross... and did I mention evil?
Where the hell were these people on Friday and Saturday? Why did they all have to come today? Did they all get together and decide that it would be super swell if they all showed up on the same day at the same time?
Because that's what it felt like.
I was going nonstop, we all were, even when I was outside doing the Sidewalk Sale, I had people asking me questions about where other stores were, the nearest bathroom location, what 50% of 32.99 was, etc...
I hate the fact that I won't be getting a day off until Friday, and then I start this process over again. UGH.
Okay, so on to brighter things.
I found out who Jack Johnson is. And more funny, I've found out I've liked him for awhile now.
I asked our resident audiophile, Peter who he was today. Peter looked at me funny, and pointed to the speakers overhead. I've been listening to Sitting, Waiting, Wishing for months, enjoying it, and never even having an inkling that this was the guy that Ames was gushing about all last night. So I promptly came home and DLed some of his songs.
Last nights chat was awesome. Very fun. Jackie learned that Ames and I are truly insane. Me, for looking up baby names and majors on the Yale website, and Ames for fully going along with it, and embracing the insanity with me by coming up with the perfect proposal. It is so me, that if it doesn't happen like that in real life (with Matt or TS, I'm not picky!) I will be sorely disappointed.
And now, last night, we came up with nicknames.
The only thing that could have made last night better would have been if M had been chatting it up with us rather than painting her basement. M! Ames and I so need to know what you think of your life! We're both dying here!

you so should have been working at my store--deader than a doornail! no one, all weekend, evidently, felt the need to hit the bookstore. But then, we weren't offering confusing deals like 50% off of 32.99--who can't figure that out? Morons.
Sorry your day sucked. I'm pooped. But I get to go outlet shopping tomorrow! Woot!
Though we did find out today that the hubby will be in CA the one weekend he REALLY wants to be home--Issaquah's Salmon Days Festival. I'm so going by myself, the local photographer that I love is always there, and I need to get another one. It's my yearly pilgridge.

I would've loved to be in a bookstore today. It would've been a better deal than smelling paint fumes. But, I am glad to let you all know, I have one more layer of paint to put on my wall and call it DONE. You know how I fear colors. I think this one actually is doing great. I hope to gt a before and after photo up for y'all to see.
I love my life except for the constant interruptions...Heh. Anyway, I'm going to try writing tonight. See y'all at chat if you're up!

Hope your day was better today! Since all the jerks came yesterday, it has to be, right? Did some retail shopping myself--got the new tennys, pants, some fancy underwear, shirts (work and play), pretty house things, and of course, a book. I don't go shopping and not get books. Outlet malls rock.
and best of all? I think Untouched will get updated tonight, with the chance of a new PP as well! Keep those fingers crossed!
