Copy Katty-ing... Again
So, since both M and A have done blogs on their vices, I feel it is my duty to Copy-Kat them. You know how much of a follower I am.
My Vices are as follows:
My Vices are as follows:
- Bad Ass boys- I think we all remember my list of the top ten Badasses that make my heart go pitterpatter, don't we? (I initiated Logan Echolls last time. My Finn, (who I think I should marry as well, M!) Tristan Dugrey (He doesn't go to strip clubs. He has Rory to strip for him whenever he wishes, unlike CMM.) and the likes.
- Boys with a nice back and shoulders- I love a guy with a nice set of shoulders. I just find this part of the body so sexy on a guy, especially when we pair it with a muscular back. *Sigh* This is one of the things that I miss about Chris. He may have been a cheating asshole, but DAMN! he had a nice back and shoulders. (I feel like I'm ordering fried chicken with all this back/shoulder talk.)
- Boys with abs- Is there really anything better than a guy with a six-pack? I don't think so. It's always a plus. And it's really hot. (Gosh, this list is making me lusty. Damn the fact that there are no good guys here. They're all hicks, transplants, gay or married. And I'm seriously not kidding.
- Bagels with Cream Cheese- I could write a whole freaking blog on my love for bagels alone. I firmly believe that you could live on bagels alone. Think about it. They've got carbs, which, despite what Atkins and South Beach preach, doctors with brains still say that you need carbs. Plus, they taste so good. Then, you've got cream cheese. There's your dairy, and if you make it veggie or fruit CC, you can also cram in your fruits or veggies. And then of course, for protien, add a slice of Lox. (But not with Strawberry CC. Ew.) ANd there you have it. All four food groups in a nice, delicious circular piece of heaven. What more can one ask for?
- My TV shows- Over the years, this list of must watch shows has dwindled to a few worthy ones, like GG (Duh!) VM, (Of course!) Friends Reruns (I still am in denial, a year later.) West Wing (My Daddy and I watch every week. And I just found out that they are moving it to Sunday, so we can continue our tradition without infringing on my sis's and my VM viewing.) Law and Order (It's a good show. You don't last a decade and a half without quality storylines.) Charmed used to be on this list, but it just got too monotonous, and 7th Heaven too, but as I've said before, the show is just too trite now. Everything, even the huge life lessons, are way too campy and too easily wrapped up to seem real, even in Camdenland. Can't bear to watch anymore.
- My Tetley- I am a HUGE tea feind, and drink about as much of it as the Gilmores drink coffee. Yes, it's that bad. When I was little, I'd have tea parties with my mom, and we'd break out the tea service and little sandwiches and cookies and sip tea with pinkies up in the air like 'proper ladies'. Tetley is my mom's brand, and I suppose that after 20 years drinking what she's purchased, I've become partial to it too.
- My Music- I have the most ecclectic music tastes of anyone that I know. Seriously. I have The Moldau by Smetana next to The Beatles White Album which is next to Mariah Carey which is above all of my movie scores and soundtracks. Basically, if it's not rap and not country (there are exceptions, trust me) I'll probably like it. I'm weird like that. But, like Amy, no one should ever, ever, EVER, touch my cd's or radio. They are in an exact order, and I like it that way. Just ask my sis. I yelled at her for like an hour the other day for borrowing my brand new Michael Buble cd and not asking. I think I scared her. But it serves her right.
- Accents- I told you, I'm a follower. I love, love, love, accents on guys. Especailly foreign ones. (French, English, Italian, Greek, so on and so on) I don't know why, but lately, I have been getting annoyed with Southern accents. I don't think it's so much the accent as the slow way that they speak. It takes them like an hour to spit out a sentance. And I'm always going like a bazillion miles an hour, and I tend to speak the way that I think, so when someone takes five minutes to ask me something simple, chances are, I'm going to want to kill you. And, I'm a New York native, so I also like that accent as well. Plus, NYers talk a mile a minute, like I do. So yay! I love it when people are on my speed.
- Bilingual Boys- There is something so attractive about a man who can whisper sweet nothings into your ear, especially when you have absolutely no idea what the hell they are saying. And I love the way that the romance languages sound. It's just so sexy.
- Spoilers- I am a gossip queen, and I feel the need to be in the know at all times. So, when it comes to tv, I am the same way. I need to have all the information. I need to know what is going on. And A is right, it is a sickness. I need some serious help. I am a spoiler whore. There, I've said it. My name is Katherine, and I'm a spoiler whore.
- I just thought of another one! I have a thing for Axe body spray. I'm not quite as bad as the commercial, but man, that stuff smells good on a guy.
So there we have it, my list of Vices.

Dude--you left off Australian!
Now, that's just wrong, we all know how you love your Finny.
I LOVED the pilot of VM. I'm watching the second eppy tonight, as it's officially making the Wed. night switch tonight.
And now, if they kill off Logan (which I'm hoping the news that RT and JS wanted to further explore the LoVe relationship in Season 2 is true), I'll have you know that it's you and M's fault that my heart will break. You guys got me all hooked--like I need more addictions, LOL.
You're going on va-cay in July, too? What will Miel do? My parents have no internet. I might get to check in at the lib. once or twice. I may have no other choice.

I did leave off Australian! I'm a bad, bad Finn-atic! I can only hope that he'll forgive me for my stupidity!
But in my defense, I did include him in #1. Because he's so awesome. And I love him. There's no one else above him. He fills my heart with gladness, and takes away my sadness...
Okay, I'm done.
I don't know what Ms gonna do when we're gone. I'm leaving the 17th, and won't be back til the 24th. We're D.C.-ing it and then off to Williamsburg to visit my house. Carter's Grove. I've been in love with it for the past five years. Walt Disney was friends with the fam that owned it, and he used it as Cruella De Vils house in 101 Dalmations. Plus, they used it for Marnie and Cold Mountain. (It's the field hospital that Inman sneaks out of.)
I only hope that she can forgive us. We're abandoning her.

Surely, both of you would leave me hanging out by myself this July. Vacation isn't part of my vocab until the hubby gets a job or work doesn't force us to go into mando OT. And depending on when my classes start this fall, I might get to Seattle for this year's Bumbershoot. Then I have a wedding in October (local) and November (FL) to attend.
So both of you have to send me souvenirs!
And yes, K, if you provide me with snail mail, I'll provide you with said audio goodies.
And in MNT, Finn plays a crucial role... You just might want to stay tuned.
Hmm, at least you weren't drooling as badly and Ames and I were in regards to kissing... Those were the days...
~M
M--you want a souviener from Indy? Hmm. That's a head scratcher, but I'll see what I can do.
Let me know if you come to Seattle! What fun!
K--read M's new fic. It's amazing! And there's lots of yummy Tristan and Finn. You know you want to. She's sending you Foo!
At least now we know how to bribe you!
amy
I definitely am going to at least give you a ring if I was in the area. Squee! I may have the chance to see you and K in the same year. So surreal.
Foo's on the way. Hope you guys enjoy!
~M
