Not Getting It
I just posted Intermission a few hours ago.
I don't think that many people got it. After all, the only reviewer I had was M, and she gets me. She understands where I'm coming from with that. I just thought it would be a funny way of saying exactly what she said I was saying, "Get off my back, stop trying to rush me."
I might have annoyed a few people with my slightly pointed comments about people who reviewed solely to say Update! and 'authors' who don't use spellcheck and only post for gratification and not because they love writing and love seeing where the story goes. That's why I write. I don't write for anyone other than myself. Even A & M & S, who I love dearly, and who inspire me with their own creativity, don't have the power to force me into writing new stuff. They prod me gently, but for the most part, are so patient with me and my sporatic updating skills. And I'm grateful for that.
But I don't care if people don't get it. I liked it. M liked it. I'm almost positive that A will get a kick out of it when she does another library visit. And that 's all I really need. I would like to know what people thought of it, sure, but if M and A end up to be the only reviewers, I won't cry a river over it.
Oh, and Sara, if you read this before you get to your email, I betaed your next chapter. It was good. I want to see where you take it now that I have a general idea.

A few people get it...
I've gotten three reviews so far, and out of the thirty people who have read it, the three who read it got it. I'm positively giddy that they do!

well, i haven't 'gotten' it cause I don't have time to read all my new pretty updates. . . but I will, and I'll love it, just from the teaser I can't wait!
And M and I should know no one can push you into writing and updating! Cause if we had that power, oh, we could rule the world!
