Movie Magic!
Nicole and I went to see Bewitched.
Don't mock. It's not like I went to see War of the Worlds. That would be unforgivable and I would understand the mocking.
This was actually a cute little film. Adorable even. Nicole Kidman and Will Farrell were hilarious. An absolute riot. The way that they played off each other was great. I liked it. I had fun.
It's not a movie that will change the world. It's not a Casablanca, but it was still good. Sometimes you need a movie that you can just sit and have fun in. This was one of those movies.
Cool sidenote. I share my birthday with Agnes Moorehead. For those of you who are illy educated and know nothing about pop culture, AM was the original Endora. Otherwise known as my favorite character. And that was before I knew about the birthday thing. I also loved her in Pollyanna, one of my fav flicks. (I said no mocking!) She is great, and Shirley McClain was pretty good as Endora. Very funny, especially when you find out her little secret in the end. Michael Caine, may I say, keeps hitting them out of the park. He totally rocks as Alfred in BB, and in my opinion, along with Morgan Freeman steals the movie, except for the parts where our favorite superhero bares a little skin. Caine plays Kidman's father, and is so funny. I just love him in everything. Miss Congeniality was another one where he stole the movie. And coincidentally he shares a screen once again with the girl who plays Cheryl in MC. She was really funny in Bewitched, she kept wanting to tasar Will or set his trailer on fire. Very funny.
Oh, and let me tell you, hydration is a HUGE part of feeling better after a night of drinking. Especially when you don't fall asleep until 2am and still have to get up at 7am to go to work. Ick. I didn't eat at all, for fear of tossing my cookies. Alcohol may taste good going down, but it usually makes me feel like crap if I don't take care of myself immediately. And I didn't. I didn't take my asprin, and I didn't drink enough water, and I didn't get much sleep. So I almost fell asleep in the lawyers office three times today. Eep. I'm just glad that I didn't get caught. Very good news, I get to keep my job for another day. YAY!

i like nicole kidman (though will ferrel is weird), and I thought about seeing it, but I still haven't seen SOTP! I suck!
okay, back to my last once over of untouched, chapter 4! (see my blog for my response to your neediness!) ;)
a
SOTP rocked. You must see it. I don't know how I missed writing a blog entry on it, considering I saw it twice. (Two friends who love me, love to go to the same types of movies, and loathe each other.) Honestly, the books are a bit better. But I usually think that. But in this case, I've read all three, and they are good. A good, easy read that will have you reaching for the tissues, but also fills in some of the gaps that the movie leaves. And takes it beyond that too.
And GO! see Bewitched if you have the time. It's really good. I liked it. Again with the stating of the obvious.

Come on, can I make fun of you now? I have to laugh. Please? LOL.
Puter finally up! Yay!
~M

This is a mock free blog.

It's up!!!

lol.

wait, I just read K's comment. M, were you mocking her seeing Bewitched, or my not having seen SOTP?
'Cause I can get behind the no mocking if it was directed at me ;o
a
Aw, I'll expand my mock shield to cover you too, Ames.
HAH! Now you can't mock either of us M!
Although I'm pretty sure she wants to mock me for my enjoyment of Bewitched or for my love of Pollyanna. Which is a good movie! I'm not cheerful enough to play the glad game, but it's nice that someone in this world is, even if she's a fictional character portrayed by Hayley Mills.

the warm and fuzzies continue.

I wanted to mock you for watching a Will Ferrell movie. I can't stand him! Although, I might break down and watch it when it comes out on video. I liked Practical Magic and I didn't give that movie a chance.
And yes, Pollyanna is part of the mockery. There is something wrong about that girl... Oh, my bad, I meant Pippy Long Stockings! ;)
All of a sudden, Kirk is running around my brain. Gack!
~M
M: I hope it's not naked Kirk! What was wrong with his chest, anyhow?
