Tuesday Night Recap

Okay so first off, Amy, I just watched my tape of Veronica Mars, and have summarized each scene for you. (See how much I love you?) Summary

Read that, before reading this. That way, you won't ruin it!

Okay, that should be enough space. Wow. First up Gilmore Girls. Wow. If at all possible, I think that I hate Logan more. He's such a prick. Stealing from peoples houses!? If it were left up to him, Beatrice would have been fired. I'm mad at Rory too, for not saying anything. Who the heck is she turning into? The Rory that I knew for four seasons wouldn't have ever let him get away with that. He's changing her. And I don't like it one bit.

Plus, who the hell does Emily think that she is? Being completely snotty to Lorelai after she was the one who wrecked everything. And she and Richard were appalling, with all their talk of children and weddings. Logan and Rory have been officially dating for what, a week and a half, and already, they're trying to marry them off. (God, I wish Tristan would come back. Why can't Luke just die already?)

I said it last week, and Lorelai is with me. The internship that Mitchum gave to Rory is all fishy. I think that he's setting her up. He realizes that this one is serious, and he's trying to mold her into the perfect Huntzberger wife, by making her think that she doesn't have what it takes. But why is Rory completely going to ruin her life over one man's opinion of her? Why is she just giving up on her dreams? What the hell does she think that she's doing?

I kind of hope that all the JJ stuff is a hoax, set up to lure us away from the fluffy bunny kind of season finale, but somehow, I don't think that this is the case. Why is ASP doing this to me?

Okay, so on to Veronica Mars. Wow. Wow. Wow. This was a good episode. The performances of the actors were all good. It was a bit confusing on the first watch, because of all the stories that people were telling Veronica about that night. But while watching it, stopping it, and summarizing it for Amy, it definately made it clearer.

Duncan! I know that I said it off hand last week. But wow. I didn't think that they would do that, with the whole paternity thing. I don't think that Jake Kane is Veronica's father now. Incest isn't something that I find at all a good storyline. So I really hope that V and Duncan aren't brother and sister. Because it's majorly gross.

My heart went out to Logan in the first scene, because the look in his eyes when he realized that Veronica thought that he raped her, broke my heart. I was so happy when she apologized, even though she had nothing to apologize for. And did anyone else catch the way that the relief of knowing that Logan didn't do it washed over Veronica when she was talking to Beaver? It was great.

Besides all the LoVe moments, before everything went to hell at the end, my favorite part was when V ran over Dick's prized surfboard. It was priceless. I had to rewind it a few times, because it was a great tv moment.

I got all squeeely when Logan called Veronica his girlfriend. (Whoopie!) I loved their makeout scenes. They have such great chemistry, and this Logan can kiss! (GG Logan doesn't seem very good at it. But maybe it's Alexis Bledel. A lot of her onscreen kisses come off a little awkward.) But then, when he went in to get drinks, all went to hell.

I don't think that the video equipment is his. I mean, it's not his house. And a setup like that is going to cost some serious cash. Someone would have noticed the construction going on in the poolhouse. His parents would have found out about it. I think it's his Dads. Aaron Echolls probably uses the poolhouse for his conquests. I just hope that Logan can make it better in the next episode, or I'll be seriously unhappy with every show I watch. Why is my television turning agianst me?

First of all--you're my favoritest person ever!!! A VM summary and the distribution of the Trory requests. . . Sigh. I'm more bummed now that I miss taped it, as it sounded action packed and amazing! But at least now I won't be lost next week *it'll be on at normal time, I already checked* I'm still in shock about Duncan and VE.Yikes.
GG--have you noticed that Rory is relying on Logan for all the things she'd normally rely on Lorelai for--fashion choices for her internship, calling him not her when she freaked out about not knowing what to do at her internship. . . yeah, she's falling into his world. And it makes me sadder for Lorelai. She's done nothing to deserve any of this treatment. Hate Emily!
