Done!
Ah, I'm done with my latest writing assignment! I just finished it a few moments ago, and sent it off to get betaed. So, hopefully, tomorrow I'll have something to post.
I'm just relieved to be done with it. I've had it all planned out in my head for a while now, but finding the time and energy to type it out was hard. Plus, it's more on the 'adult' side, so finding time away from prying eyes is hard too. But it's done. And I couldn't be happier.
I have to go to work tomorrow morning, but on the bright side, I get to leave at 2pm. Four hours isn't too bad. I can handle it.
But what I can't handle is the fact that I have to wear a stupid Zoddie hat all weekend. I hate hats. Unless it's got the Yankee symbol stamped on the front of it, I'm not interested. I don't have the right shaped head for it. Plus, I haven't worked out the proper hairstyle to accomodate a hat on my new do. Why does hair have to be so complicated?
And the AC is still dead. We have gotten approval for a new one from corporate, but now we have to wait for them to ship us one. They are estimating about two weeks for it to get here. Then, we have to wait for someone to put it in!
I had to go to work today on my day off. I didn't mind so much, since I'm helping out Nicole. Her sis had the baby, a boy, and she wanted to see it. I'm still a little fuzzy on the details, but baby wasn't supposed to be born for a few weeks, then they were going to induce her, then they moved the induce date, and then she either went into labor last night, or she started bleeding and they had to bring her to the hospital. I might go and visit Mommie's best at the hopsickle, so I can sneak a glimpse at Baby. I love babies. Too bad Daddy is a schmuck. (And yes, even after the last entry, I mean that with ever fiber of my being. He is a real prize.)
In positive news, we got our shop scores. We got a 90%, which is barely passing, but still passing. Matty Matt's store got a 57%. Ouch. When Nat told me that on Wed, I nearly passed out. Someone over at VH is gonna get their ass fired for that one. I'm thinking that it's JimJim. I hate t hat guy. He's an ass. So he should get fired!
