Hair

So, today I got a haircut.

I hacked off three inches of my hair... not a lot to most, but now my hair just reaches my shoulder. Plus, it's now mad at me, because I snipped off a lot of its friends, and it's doing that stupid thing with the puffiness at the bottom.

So that means that I've got it in pigtails. I look cute. Ten years old, but cute.

I'm not sure if I like it. I liked it at first, but now, I'm going through the grieving process, and soon will start the haircut cycle of shame. If you were ever a fan of Boy Meets World, you know what I'm talking about.

And so I'm sitting here.

Worrying that I cut off my long hair for nothing.

I don't know. Tomorrow after school, I'm trying out some new curling options. I like curly hair. Much more bouncy. Plus, I need the softer look to offset my sharp wit.

But I think the biggest problem is that the short hair makes my boobs look bigger. Now, I get that most people would kill for that, but when you have a set of DD's strapped to your chest, the problem is not a fun one. What I would give for smaller breasts.

I know about surgery, but honestly, I fear needles and sharp objects piercing my skin, and don't want to end up like all those people on the Dr 90210 show... oh, wait, he just makes objects bigger, not smaller! But seriously, I saw a breast reduction on the DiscoveryHealth channel, and it gave me nightmares for about a week.

So it looks like I'll be growing my hair out agian. I knew that I had to cut it. THe ends were all completely dead, and looked it unless I curled it. Now, my head feels lighter. Although it's really irritating that I can't push my hair behind my shoulders anymore.

I just have to adjust.

Right?

(PS- Really enjoyed the whole do nothing approach that I took to today! No schoolwork, no Zod, nothing but reading stories and watching the tube. And yay! Fox is alive! Although he's still with Whitney, and not with Theresa, who I still say had his child, not Ethan's...)

Well, I can totally relate. I tend to be the overachiever (no, seriously) and chop my hair from below my shoulders (which I've painstakingly grown for three years or however long it takes) completely off. Like Meg Ryan's cut crop short.

I like it for a day, then I freak out. I like it again like a week later, after I remember how to style it.

Currently, my hair is getting back to my shoulders. I should be in some sort of hair-cutters support group. :)

And I'm with you on small boobs! I hate mine, too! Though I'm addicted to Dr. 90210. He did do a reduction surgery to remove an extra set once, did you catch that? Gave me the heeby-jeebies. Bleeaah.
