Ah!
Life is good.
Kate and I spent all of Sun night studying for the second half of our music exam, and I am sure that I aced it. I knew all of the songs, and all the crap that Evil Prof Lady wanted us to know. I think that she thinks that Kate and I cheat on our stuff, because we always have very similar answers. We just study together. And maybe copy each others homework all the time. But thats not cheating! Well it is, but we're not always graded on it!
But we got back the first half, and we both ended up with an 85%. I'm happy. I studied for that about twenty minutes before the exam. I'm glad that I have nearly ten years of musical knowledge to get me through the class. Oh, and we got a B on our paper and presentation. I love John Williams! And I love my ability to BS my way through papers. It's a gift I tell you.
Plus, I just finished chapter 10 of THE LAST! I am so relieved. I have been writing that stupid chapter for over three months now, and it's kicked my ass too many times to count. I decided to scrap most of my original plans for it, and went in a completely different direction. So look out for it in the next couple of days, I just have to wait for the lovely Amy to go through it with her fine tooth comb and fix all my mistakes. I don't know what I would do without her, and Sara and Miel for that matter. They have all been super great through this whole process, reassuring me about the only part of the chapter to remain in tact. I wrote the end first. Actually, thats not true anymore, it's the second to last part. But it's still pretty good, and I'm glad that my wonderful GG buds agreed!
