Painting Day!!!!!!

So, today was painting day at work. If you couldn't tell from the title of this entry.

Nor and I got most of the painting done relatively quickly, and then Nicole showed up, and we got really goofy and had a blast. Three women in a bathroom that's about five by seven-ish. The conversation was... interesting, to say the least.

It started with Nicole recalling something that I said when we were almost sideswiped by another driver coming back from Cursed on Saturday. She said something about Male Drivers, and I said something back.

Nicole: Oh my God! We almost died!
Me: Crap!
Nicole: I bet it was a Man.
Me: Probably, that would explain the way he almost killed us.
Nicole: He's probably sitting in his car, going 'Women Drivers.'
Me: You know, they always say that women are the worst drivers, but I don't think that's true. I think both sexes suck at it. Men don't think enough about a decision, and women over think it.
Nicole: Huh.
Me: I bet hermaphrodites are the best drivers. They must think just enough.

So, of course, after about four hours in the bathroom, the paint fumes are starting to get to us, and we're all a little loopy. And we retell this to Nor, who laughed so hard, she sat on the lid to the paint. That made us laugh even harder.

But the bathroom looks great. It was supposed to be blue, but it ended up to be a mauvy pink. The boys were all 'we have to pee in a pink bathroom? Are you kidding me?' But it looks amazing. Much improved from the scuffed, dirty walls we had before.

Now, next week, we tackle the office. No pink, we don't want Richard to have a conniption. He would kill us if we painted the office pink too. We're thinking a cool green. It will compliment the green carpet nicely, and it's not girly, but not too manly.
