A Rather Sucky V-day
So, I had a rather sucky V-day...
I stayed in. Right there bad.
I had school. Ick.
They called from work, and tried to guilt me in to coming in. I dodged the attempt.
It was a boring V-day. Not that I have had a good V-day in years. Why do I always end up alone on this stupid holiday?
Oh, yeah, that's right. I'm unlucky in love, and probably going to die alone.
Is it sad that the best part of my day was when I watched 'Lover Come Back' on TCM? For those of you who are too ignorant about quality classic films, LCB is a fantastic Doris Day/Rock Hudson flick, in which they both play advertising execs who hate each other, but then they meet, wacky hijinks ensues, and they end up married because of VIP. More hilarity, and finally, all is happily ever after, with a neurotic Tony Randall on the side.
Why can't life be like a movie?

Hey gurl!
I just got around to reading this, and I know what you mean about Valentine's Day, or as I like to call it "Single's Awareness Day" Ugh, I hate that holiday! I'm so glad it's over. Maybe next year we'll both have boyfriends! We can hope, anyways! Lol.
