Oh, Good Grief!
Okay, what in Hell blazes is Rory thinking doing... THAT with LOGAN at HER GRANDPARENTS vow renewal?
I really don't like Logan. I mean, every week, my sister has to talk me down from this state that I work myself into, getting all upset about the fact that they have just replaced Tristan Dugrey, one of my favorite things to ever hit GG, and no one seems to care.
Has anyone else noticed that Logan and Tristan are way too similar? I think that ASP has finally realized that letting CMM go was the biggest mistake that she ever made, and has tried to distract us with a mediocre version of Tristan to mollify us.
Why has everyone been fooled? I mean, every time I think that I'm going to get an update from one of my authors, half the time, it's for a Sophie, or Rogan, or Socialite. (Side note: All these writers need to band together and pick a name already! It's driving me nuts!) It's insane that everyone has jumped the Trory ship.
I don't know about any of you, but I am NOT fooled. I don't have much love for Rory and 'Imitation Tristan, ' or IT, as I like to call him. Season 4.5 came up with Diet Tristan, and Tristan Lite, both of which are great!
For all of those who don't see it, lets see if I can show you exactly what I mean...
Tristan had messy blonde hair.
What kind of coiff does Logan sport?
Tristan was rich.
How many figures does Logan's bank account have?
Tristan was a BMOC.
Logan doesn't seem to be a slouch in the friend department.
Tristan was kind of a jerk.
Do you remember the whole Marty incident?
Tristan called Rory Mary.
One Word... ACE.
Tristan was astonishingly hott. (yes there are supposed to be two Ts.)
Logan is not slouch in that department either.
See? Logan is just another version of a beloved character, and it seems that everyone is buying into it. Well, I'm not. I see exactly what it is. ASP has created a shoddy version of Tristan Dugrey.
I want Tristan back. I don't like what this Logan guy is doing to Rory. I mean, I know that you grow and change in college, but come on. Ripping the clothes off of some guy you barely know at your GRANDPARENTS party is not a Rory thing to do. It might be something that Lorelai would do, but not Rory.
Especially with someone that has told you the doesn't want a commitment. I mean, what in hell is she thinking? What is ASP thinking? I thought we had Rory past the whole random sexual encounters with people you shouldn't sleep with phase. I guess not.
And does anyone else hate Emily right now? I went from a euphoric feeling of FINALLY! She and Richard were back together, to ew! I hate her for trying to break up Luke and Lorelai!
Plus, where has Finn been? I looked around, and it will probably be another two weeks til we are graced with the gorgeous aussie's face. I think that he is awesome. I adore him.
