Finally, a day that I don't have to do anything!
I have been working non stop for the last five days. John, the PVH VP, came to our store yesterday, so we had to make everything look completely perfect for him. And so, of course, I worked two days that I didn't have to, and came in early and stayed late on the three that I did have to work.
The visit went fine, he liked the way that everything looked. I was there yesterday morning when he showed up, and let me tell you, thank God he came in the morning, because I packed that women's clearance wall with so much crap that if one person were to walk by it funny, it would crash down on top of them. I hated to do it, but we didn't have any extra room anywhere else. I fit all but about seven pieces back into the wall.
So, he really loved my thoughts on why you shouldn't have skorts for tennis players. It was completely mortifying telling the VP of the company I work for that when you play tennis, girls basically stick the extra balls in bloomers, which are glorified underwear. I play tennis, and so I know that it's not the smartest thing in the world to have a skort to play in, especially with no pocket. That was just dumb.
No, I don't have to go to work for two glorious days. I emailed my prof a few days ago, and told her that I was having some problems, and asked for an extension, and she obliged, so now I have some breathing room again.
And so, I'm going to try to get something together to email Sara and Amy today. Or not. I don't know, I'm just vegging today, as once Sunday rolls around, I'll no longer have the option. Work, and then after, Nicole and I are going to find a theater that has 'The Wedding Date' playing. So far, it's not playing at Leows, or Foxmore, or even Pocono. It looks like we're gonna have to make a drive down to Wilson to see it at Regal.
Oh well.
Back to the day of doing nothing!
