My Favorite Word
So, I just found my new favorite word.

Not that one. (Although I am warming up to it in light of the Bee!)

No... That was last weeks.
Perhaps Putz?
Or Yankees?
Maybe Malevolent?
Nope. None of those.
My new favorite word is...
Copious.
Yes, I typed Copious.
For whatever reason, I've used it about five times in the last five hours.
In such ways as, The Katharine girl who is in the final round of the Spelling Bee needs copious amounts of sunlight to give her a healthy glow to cut down on the sickly pallor of her current skin tone.
See? It's kind of a fun random word to throw into a conversation. Try it today. Or tomorrow. Or whenever. Because people will probably look at you funny, and then you can look down at them because you know what it means and they don't. And really, what is more fun than being smarter than normal people?

You know what's sad? I type that word often when I make our work manuals. An example?
"...While discarding urine, pour copious amounts of water down the drain to avoid cross contamination and bacterial growth..."

Oooh, I've got it.
Coplandesque.
I used that a lot last week at my sister's concert. Whenever some piece of music is reminiscent of the old west kind of sounds and very Americana sounding, it's Coplandesque.
Nothing dirty or gross about Coplandesque, is there M?

but I haven't used that lately.
It needs to be something that I have used very recently.
And Eri and I have been saying Coplandesque for a couple days now. It makes us sound like we know what we're talking about. Conanesque doesn't do that.
