An Unplanned/Unwanted Field Trip
So, Nicole and I were supposed to be going to see Prime right after an insane day at work. We both were in all day today, as well as yesterday. Good thing for OT hours.
So, Nicole is driving, and gets on the highway. I'm inky about that particular highway, unsure of whether or not this is the correct way to get to the theater that we wanted to go to. I always go on a different one. But she assures me that she knows where she's going.
Then, I see the mall. Not the one we work in, but a different one, in a direction that is not near the theater. I ask her again if she is sure she this is the way. She assures me that she knows where she's going.
Then we see a sign for the Del. Water Gap.
I squeak.
Then we see the toll booths.
I gasp.
One hundred yards later, I yelp.
We just passed a sign.
It said 'Welcome to New Jersey!'
We were SO not where we needed to be!
So, we missed the movie. We ended up commiserating over pie at the diner.
So I guess my night wasn't a total bust.
Coconut Cream pie.
Lemon Crunch.
Boston Cream.
Good pie.
And, we're going to try again on Friday. This time, I'm driving.

(I just know you despise driving as much as I do. ;))
Have fun drooling over BG for me. I don't know when I will be able to watch Prime.
it could be worse, with you driving. you could be me, learning the clutch release in my new car :D I drove it for the first time any real distance in the rain and the dark! and everyone lived to tell the tale!
i wanna drool over BG! maybe on thurs... my next day off...
