Driver Ed

So, last night's Veronica Mars.

IT ROCKED!

I loved it. I loved the whole thing. Well, I could have done without the whole Logan/Kendall scene, even though I love CC and JD so much. CC is looking so gorgeous these days, despite the post baby jigglage that Ames is not happy with. I'm glad that she's back on television, and it's even better that she's on one of my favorite shows. And it wasn't that hard to get through the scene. All you really had to do was focus on Logan's arms. (I'm sorry, but it wasn't very fair to have Logan finally all shirtless, and not give us anything to admire! I mean, arms are nice, but I want a nice abs shot RT!)

Logan and Kendall SO should have gotten caught! I could not believe how seemlessly that they pulled that off. Well, except for that condom wrapper. (Side note: How many people noticed that it said Large on it?) I thought that Big Dick was gonna kill him. And after watching target practice, I think I'm a little worried about the life of my Logan. He might have to join witness protection to escape his wrath. (I'm thinking that the condom wrapper is what tipped Beaver off. After all, you don't name yourself 'Big Dick' unless you are doing some major overcompensating!)

I was all, "Go V!" when she waved her hand at that Jackie girl and said "Poof! You're a machiato." Man! Veronica has balls of steel. I loved that part. I'm iffy on Jackie though. She seems really bitchy, and really obnoxious, but I'm kind of interested to see where RT takes her and how she and Wallace interact more. Because God knows he needs a woman. When was the last time the boy had a date? Homecoming 2004? Hopefully the nice guy will be getting some t his season. He deserves it.

The mystery this week was great. It was actually worthwhile. I mean, it was nice to get Wallace back on the basketball team, but this week, the mystery really mattered. And I'm loving this mystery so far. I love it. From what I can infer, someone was trying to get to the 09er kiddies. Ask Ausiello said something about thinking about who was supposed to be on the bus and wasn't. So, this means that this whole class war going on between the Haves and the Have Nots is still perpetuating. And the violence is escalating. Who is the one who has anything to gain from all this? I have a theory.

Woody Goodman.

Okay, I know, I'm probably nuts. And possibly wrong. But the alarm that goes off in my head when I figure out who the killer is in the slasher flicks goes off every single time that he's on the screen. And this has nothing to do with Steve Guttenberg in general. I've watched Three Men and a Baby a lot, the last time being about two months ago, and he's never set off my radar before. Plus, he's way too squeaky clean. He's the perfect shocker culprit. He's like Aaron from last year. I certainly didn't see it coming. I knew he beat Logan and that Dylan Goran guy, but to actually commit murder was something I didn't think he'd do.

Anyway.

Kevin Smith was awesome! I love him in anything, and I have to say that after 10+ years of watching him make millions while not saying a word, it was a bit strange to see him so chatty. I adored how V worked him over. She was so smooth. Especially when she realized that the bus driver was just going to make a phone call. How no one else figured that one out was beyond my comprehension.

And when she showed up at the police station! I loved that whole thing. Lamb's face was priceless! She's so sly. He didn't even notice her put that piece of paper in her pocket.

My favorite part of the episode came right after my least favorite part.

Duncan and Veronica's sex scene seemed rushed and awkward to me. I don't know, maybe it's just because I'm such a LoVe fan that I don't like to see her with anyone else, but it almost seemed like they did it just so we could have my favorite part.

Logan, in he hallway! Man, he was so snarkastic! I loved that whole thing. "If the cuddling was the best part, he didn't do it right." Man! I was so giddy at that. Because I'm pretty sure, that after watching the post coital cuddle, that V has oh, so much more to learn when she and Logan get back together. And we all know that they will. It's pretty much the only thing that gets me through the VD cutsy scenes.

And I had swirlings last week about this, and that scene confirmed it. Veronica is in love with Logan. I know, M is probably not gonna agree with me, but think about it. If you were over your ex, would you call a hotel to figure out who he was sleeping with? Plus, that longing stare last week on the bus. She wants him back. I think, that their breakup had more to do with him saying 'I love you' than it did with him and the fire at the community pool. I think that she's running scared, because she loves him too, and she ran back to Duncan, who is safe and cuddly. Duncan is Veronica's Dean. (Oh, come on! We all can see it!)

Anything else? Oh, yeah. I'm glad that Keith is going to run for sheriff. Neptune needs someone like him in office. Especially after watching the way that Lamb treated Jesse. I hope that when V proves that Ed wasn't suicidal that he gets tarred and feathered. Wouldn't we all have a field day with that?

I can't wait for next week! My shows all look awesome. GG looks like it'll actually be something besides filler. And so far, Supernatural gets better and better. And I can not wait to see how Veronica reacts when she finds out that Logan, her exboyfriend is the one having the affair. I wonder what she'll tell Beaver. Will she rat Logan out, or cover for him, and make him show her how to 'do it right' in return for her silence? I know, it's a pipe dream. I mean, it's not sweeps yet!

Did I miss you tonight?

GAH! I took the world's longest nap after dinner. Barely stayed awake for Friday Night Lights with the hubby. He just woke me up, at nine, and I'm gonna watch Everwood then hit the hay for the night. . . I'll blog about why later.

VM def did rock pretty hard. I am so glad I didn't miss it, esp due to my idiocy in misprogramming.

I love 'watching' it with you. You're so good to me in never telling me a damn thing. You rock like that.

As for your 'theory', I think you are very wise indeed. It would be the evil genius of RT to make SG, someone named "Woody Goodman", the evil menace that tears the town in two.

lalalala.

Back to sleeptyme. *kisses* chat later?

Oh, I knew Ronnie wasn't over Logan. When she broke up with Logan, it wasn't because she wasn't in love with him. She just didn't like that fact that he won't let sleeping dogs lie. I mean, she's also trying to be compassionate toward the likes of Eli and the PCH clan.

I will blog down my thoughts on VM as well. At least it gives us something to talk about other than filler GG eps.
