Hey all, just sitting here, making out my list for MY 20th BIRTHDAY!!!!! I expect to get major presents, all who will be 'out of town' or 'away at college', well, Christmas break isn't that far off in the future... I expect two presents. You can't combine them, that's cheating!
No work today, I'm free from Izod today, but I'm working tomorrow, and Friday, Saturday, and Sunday... God, retail sucks! Customers are seriously evil.
So, last Friday, I saw 'National Treasure' with the fam... we had a nice little outing. Dinner and a movie. But the movie is amazing. I loved every minute, and it might be one of the best I've seen all year... behind HP3 and The Notebook, which is also one of my favorite books as well. Nicholas Sparks is an amazing author.
But National Treasure is so great... has something for everyone. Romance, adventure, a smart, interesting cast... the guy who plays Riley is hilarious, and was definately my favorite! The movie is intellegent, and well scripted, the wow factor is off the charts, especially considering that they put in the history facts, and managed not to make it seem like they were educating you... am I a dork, considering that I already knew all of those tid bits?
I'm a little sad that OTH and GG aren't on tonight... no HA. Wah! I'm all sad about that, but I'm really excited about the fact that the first American Girl movie is coming out. I got Samantha when I was about 9... and then added Addy, Felicity, and Josephina over the years. My little sis has Kit and Molly, so the only one that we're missing is Kirsten, and lets face it... her stories sucked, her clothing sucked, and no one likes her. At least at my house.
I've been working on The Last, and TC... but honestly, I'm gonna be working on Amy's fic more, now that I got the recs. I just hope that she finds it up to snuff!
